GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN CHRISTIAN STUDIES

Dev Christophe Menon
Dev spent all of his life after National Service studying and working in laboratories mainly in London. He took up a 2 year apprenticeship at the Clubhouse at All Souls, Langham Place, London. He has been working for the last 2 years as a Ministry Staff in Zion Bishan BP Church. He intends to continue studying at BGST and working at Zion Bishan. His life verse is Matt. 5:48: ‘You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect’.

Makiko Okada
Makiko received Christ when she was a university student. In January 2007 she came to Singapore for work. Two years later she resigned after working in industry for almost 25 years and took an internship course at Covenant Evangelical Free Church. She intends to study towards a Masters degree. After that she plans to go back to Japan. Her life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6: 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.'

Angelo Tirhas
Angelo has spent most of his adult life within the Managerial and Hospitality industry, in areas of food and beverage, catering, marketing, tourism and extreme sports. He was working in retail management when he was offered the opportunity to work for the Currubbers Christian Centre in Edinburgh UK in their café outreach ministry. It was there that the pastoral team persuaded him to pursue theological studies so as to broaden his horizon for evangelism and service. After studying briefly with the London School of Theology, he moved to Singapore with his family and enrolled at BGST, where he intends to complete a Masters degree. His life verse is Job 38:2: ‘Who is this that darkens my council with words without knowledge?’ It is a verse that encourages humility and demands reverence for the ultimate knowledge which is the knowledge of God.

Justin Peter Zhou
Justin is a trainer and social worker who has been involved in youth work since 2000. He serves as a church leader in a missional community that is devoted to reaching out to youths and families in Jurong. He intends to pursue higher studies in either missiology or Christian education. His vision is to equip individuals and churches to rediscover missions and integrate spirituality into everyday life. In his free time, he is an avid outdoor man who enjoys the wilderness.
