Issue No. 19 14 -20 May 2012
New Incentive Schemes for BGST Courses (Application Form now available)

Special OfferAs we announced previously, BGST is introducing two new incentive schemes for our courses in the new academic year of 2012 (Jul 2012 – Jun 2013):

  1. ‘One Bring One’ Incentive

To help our students encourage friends to take up courses with BGST, we will be offering BGST Book Vouchers for the first course that the new student takes with the school. New students taking a 3-credit course will receive either $100 (credit student) or $70 (audit student) worth of book vouchers. New students taking a 1.5-credit course will receive either $50 (credit student) or $30 (audit student) worth of book vouchers. This incentive is also applicable to any new student to BGST (whether they were introduced by an existing student or not).
Every existing BGST student who recommends a friend will receive $30 worth of book vouchers for every friend recommended.

  2. ‘Early Bird’ Incentive

To encourage early registration for non-core courses, students will receive either $60 (3-credit course) or $30 (1.5-credit course) worth of BGST Book Vouchers for each course that they register for before the ‘early bird’ deadline. The same offer applies to both credit and audit students. The early bird registration deadline for Term 1 courses is 1 Jun 2012. The deadline for Term 2 courses is 1 Aug 2012.

NOTE : Core courses are excluded from the ‘Early Bird’ incentive scheme. Core courses are : HE101, OT101/ 102, NT101/ 102, CE101, CH101/ 102, TS101 and CS101. Courses by overseas lecturers are also excluded. A course will only be run if it attains a minimum class size.

Both discount schemes are valid for courses offered from 1 Jul 2012 – 30 Jun 2013. While a course can qualify for any one of the above incentive schemes or the existing discounts offered by BGST, only one incentive/discount is applicable to a single course. Students who have collected the book vouchers will not be allowed to cancel or change their courses.

We are pleased to inform that the application form is now available on our website for you to print for use (http://bgst.edu.sg/courses-and-events/incentive-schemes).

The completed form must be submitted with the Course Registration Confirmation issued to the student. Please ensure that your application forms are handed in/received by the Admin office @ BGST, Clarus Centre at least 1 week before the commencement of the earliest course that you had registered for in order to be eligible for the incentive.

So … what are you waiting for? Talk to your friends and recommend them to take up their theological studies at BGST. Both of you could be rewarded!

For courses, please refer to our AY2012-13 Course Schedule (Semester 1) (see below, or at http://bgst.edu.sg/media/files/courses/2012-2013-sem1.pdf).
