Lecturer : Kwa Kiem Kiok
DIRECTOR (ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMS) LECTURER IN MISSIOLOGY AND INTER-DISCIPLINARY STUDIES
Kiem-Kiok, is Lecturer in missiology and interdisciplinary studies. She brings her legal and theological training, as well as work experience in marketplace, church and para-church organisations into this role. Previously she was lecturer and registrar at East Asia School of Theology where she taught a variety of courses in intercultural studies. She has published on a diverse range of subjects including a contextual commentary on Matthew(ATA, 2017), contributed to the Dictionary of Christian Spirituality (Zondervan, 2011) as well as on religious harmony in Faith in an Age of Terror (BGST, 2018). She and her husband, a Methodist pastor, enjoy walking in the outdoors.

PRINCIPAL, LECTURER IN CHURCH HISTORY & HISTORICAL THEOLOGY
Dr Lai Pak Wah is lecturer of Church History and Historical Theology at BGST. A graduate from BGST (Grad Dip CS) & Regent College, Vancouver (MCS, ThM), Pak Wah completed his PhD at Durham University,where he specialised in Christianity in Late Antiquity (the history, theology and spirituality of the 2nd - 5th century church fathers, also known as Patristic Studies). Pak Wah has publicised articles and chapters on John Chrysostom’s preaching, soteriology and Trinitarian doctrine. He is also author of The Dao of Healing: Christian Perspectives of Chinese Medicine. Previously, Pak Wah was a full-time lecturer at the School of Business, Singapore Polytechnic, and engaged in investment promotion work with the Singapore Economic Development Board.

EMERITUS PRINCIPAL, REGISTRAR, LECTURER IN OLD TESTAMENT, BIBLICAL HEBREW & HERMENEUTICS
Philip Satterthwaite has been Lecturer in Old Testament and Biblical Hebrew at BGST since 1998. Before that he was Research Fellow in Hebrew & Aramaic at Tyndale House, Cambridge. His main research areas are: the Old Testament Historical books; the Septuagint. In 2007 his book Exploring the Old Testament 2: The Histories (written in collaboration with J.G. McConville) was published by SPCK/IVP.
Philip has preached and taught in a number of churches in Singapore. He is a member of Prinsep Street Presbyterian church. He is married to Eileen.

LLB (Hons) (National University of Singapore), Grad Dip CS (Biblical Graduate School of Theology), MDiv, ThM (Regent College, Vancouver), PhD Candidate (University of Cambridge).
Mr Quek is a Ph.D candidate in New Testament Studies at the University of Cambridge. His special area of studies is in the use of the Old Testament in the New. After leaving legal practice, he served in student ministry with the Fellowship of Evangelical Students (Singapore). He then commenced theological studies, receiving a Dip. C.S. from BGST, a M.Div and a Th.M from Regent College, Vancouver. He is married to Sharon, and they have two daughters. He serves in the teaching ministry of his church, and maintains a lively interest in local food, football, and movies
