Biblical Graduate School of Theology (BGST)’s aspiration is that all Christians may become effective ambassadors for Christ at work, church, and society, wherever God has called them. We do so by providing training that is integrative, flexible, relevant, and grounded in spiritual formation so that Christians may become theologically mature as they are professionally competent.
Summary of Position
BGST is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of Head, Administrative Services (HAS). The HAS must share the vision and mission of the school. The incumbent’s responsibility is to provide leadership and management for BGST’s Administrative Team. This is to support BGST’s transformation into school for equipping marketplace leaders and disciples.
He/ she is expected to actively engage both internal and external stakeholders, such as faculty, students, alumni, associate lecturers, educational partners, and vendors of BGST to be successful in this role.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
The HAS will provide leadership, and improve the systems, policies and processes for:
- BGST’s general administrative operations (human resources, finance, office facilities, general IT, governance, and regulatory compliance).
- BGST’s academic operations (admissions, course scheduling, registration, assignments, graduation, accreditation, and academic IT systems).
- Vendor management.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should be a degree holder:
- With more than 8 years of broad-based administrative experience preferably in the education sector.
- With strong project/program planning, execution, and management know-how;
- With creative problem-solving skills;
- With good leadership experience with an administration team;
- Who is a good team player and with strong inter-personal skills;
- With good relational and communication skills;
- Able to work well in cross-functional teams and in collaboration with external lecturers, partners and/or vendors;

BGST is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of Manager, Centre for Christian Leadership (MCCL). The MCCL must share the vision and mission of the school. The incumbent’s responsibility is to provide leadership and management for BGST’s Centre for Christian Leadership (CCL). This is to support BGST’s transformation into school for equipping marketplace leaders and disciples.
He/ she will also engage both internal and external stakeholders, such as faculty, students, alumni, associate lecturers, educational partners, and vendors of BGST.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
The MCCL will:
1. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to equip senior marketplace professionals theologically and spiritually so that they not only become effective organisational and thought leaders in their companies and industries but also act as mentors or role model to younger marketplace professionals.
2. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to equip church leaders with spiritual and leadership competencies so that they can lead well in churches.
3. Develop and implement relevant leadership training to equip young marketplace professionals theologically and spiritually for their workplaces.
4. Curate, recruit and develop a panel of associate lecturers, mentors and coaches to support the above initiatives.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should be a degree holder and a minimum qualification of Graduate Diploma in Theological Studies is preferred:
- With more than 5-years’ experience in managing higher education training, particularly in the area of leadership.
- With demonstrated competency in educational pedagogy, with understanding of learning management systems.
- With strong project/program planning, execution, and management know-how;
- With creative problem-solving skills;
- Who is a good team player and with strong inter-personal skills;
- With good relational and communication skills.
- Able to work well in cross-functional teams and in collaboration with external lecturers, partners and/or vendors.
